Binoy Sir (A true Inspiration)

Well I have posted about my views on media in India in my earlier blogs and in Leaders For Tomorrow I happened to be in direct contact with a reputed personality form NEWS media,Binoy Sir-a person with such great vision and dreams.
LFT is a initiative by Binoy Sir who has inspired thousands of univesity students to take up social work and do their bit for the world they live in.

Leaders For Tomorrow

Leaders For Tomorrow
Its been just few months and Leaders For Tomorrow has become an integral part of my life.Just from harsh`s advice I went to it and I have redefined my limits and my hieght. It has given me all togather a bigge arena to explore the world and contribute to the change I wanted.

It all started from a interview in Greater Kailash`s Cafe Cofee Day outlet, interview was more of orientation towards Leaders For Tomorrow which i managed to qualify and step in American Center for 10 day training session regarding management, delegation, leadership, fundraising, networking and communication. In a way I made few good friends who were the cream of the D.U`s youth and of course among very passionate people. In America Center we were introduced to many of the top US foreign services oficcers and UN diplomats apart form that we also had a session from Biraj Patnayak which completely changed my prospective towards life.

After the summer break the real work began various colleges started joining it in their college.CVS was the first to start the program with cleanliness drive and it really was a eye-catcher people got attracted towards it and it soon spread like a wave in most of Delhi college. Many of the colleges of DU and IPU joined LFT.The college level programs include cleanliness drive, adopt a plant, personality development, cultural events, shramdaan, visit for compassion.Delhi level programs include Delhi Walk(nformal heritage walk) ,IYM(igniting young minds) and national program include Meet the Leaders and Research Projects.
Even I conducted one activity in my college and it was a real fun.
As the time has passed since summer break I have become more and more involve in making website for LFT named www.leadersfortomorrow.in it is among one of the best project I and Himanshu Bhaiya(my senior,my mentor) have ever worked on.

My trip to Gujarat

I know its been a long time since i wrote last.Actually I got busy with lots of things.Well during past few days I was i Gujarat with my family and relatives to visit holy cities of Jain which I`l be discussing in detail. It was greta pleasure to visit such old and historical places and I also climed 2 hills ,it was like a total of 20 km of walking.

This picture contains the oldest generation I have ever met.In the middle is my mom`s grandmother she is 90 years old and just to honour her the entire trip was organised. In marwari family the concept of SANGH exist which says to organise a religious trip with a large group of famly, friends and needy to holy places of Jainism.

The next photo is of one the temple of Palitana the most aucpicious place of Jainism.Where the SAMMET shikhar also exist which is believed to be ever existing even after the eternity.

I am confused

I am writing this blog in the middle of a hell lot of confusion almost like an ocean of thoughts in my mind asking me one simple question is the life ,the way I am living right now ,is what I wanted?

And I dont know the answer but I know only this that in order to be a grow up like all other people around me I have lost my identity and have become some1 I never wanted to be.
I never thought I would become like what I am today.I have started deviating from my aim in life and felt in unnecessary(i even dont know the spelling of it) things around me .
I think the time has come that I should part myself from useless stuff and again start living a motiveful life cause I really cant bear this motiveless life frreaking just any other chap.

Now I am realising why my father asked me to be always with like-minded people cause people who cant think the same way one do cant survive with others though in most cases it has bought in good things for me as I learnt new way of living ,like the way a college dude should. But hey I never wanted to be like college fucha insted a desent simple and adorable chap.
Sometime change in personality is good but I think I have changed for bad I still remeber I took one decision in 8th standard to make my focus shift from hard core studies to activities also and it really helped and but this time my decison of change from a nice little chap to be a like any other college hunk as made me a looser who is cought in between the two identities

Why I am not like others?

Why I am not like others this is the question I always ask myself. Why just I cant be like anu other normal guy who lives cool and chill life with nthing to worry bout the world or any future.I am alwys running for my futures perfection but never wins infact gets a hell lot of pitholes.I am really upset being what I am.
Moreover everyone expec so much from me and I cant deliver them to the full which I could but the situation adn luck tosses my destiny.
I just wanna change myself.Just like others guys who habg out from home for late or those dont have to be bound for permissions for everything nor they have to think of the so called marwari family values .

I am trapped within a population sea So much my heart desires to be set free Desire for large buildings, I have none I want open fields and to see the rising sun Traffic, cars, and concrete so coarse I'll have no need of these if mounted upon a horse To run! to gallop! All across the land wind in my face, reins within my hand My faithful compainon, I need no other friend The bond between us, no one can comprehend This vision brings me great happiness But I cry because it is simple foolishness For I know nothing of which I seek I have never experianced that of which I speak I am trapped within a population sea I am trapped, with no way to be set free.
So if you have a dream then tell the world that
"I have a Dream"

Everything happens for the best!

Whatever your cross,
Whatever your pain,
There will always be sunshine,
After the rain...

Perhaps you may stumble,
Perhaps even fall,
But God's always ready,
To answer your call...

He knows every heartache,
Sees every tear,
A word from His lips,
Can calm every fear...

Your sorrows may linger,
Throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish,
In dawn's early light...

The Savior is waiting,
Somewhere above,
To give you His grace,
And send you His love...

Whatever your cross,
Whatever your pain,
"God always sends rainbows...
After the rain..."

Tough Time

My college has started and i am under lot of pressure of doing so many works and more over this anti-ragging afidavit has totally harrsed me then the freshers.Seriously there is hell lot of confusion about the instructions given to us.
It`s good as it bound the students morally and legally to not to indulge in ragging but this should be made simpler and easily acessible. In my college I am been told to buy single bond paper and then attach the rest with it whereas in other colleges and the bookshop from where we are been asked to get the work done asks us to make 2 bond sheets its hell lot of mess and that too in so short time.

do check out the guidelines to all the students for afidavit yes it has vseveral spelling errors

Money Money and More Money

I dont like people who say money is not everything or money cant buy happiness or friends but I nelieve if you have money you can buy anything and everything and when you can do that you will have friends and hapiness too.

I never thought that I would come to this thught ever but after a lot of thinking I accepted that money is the ultimate resource to live a content and satisfied life and that too not a handul of money but wealth in huge ammount and huge means huge.

I mean I dont want thta i have to ever see the price tag of a cloth or a gadget first before even thinking to buy it.I shouldn`t compromise on my need just becasue of lack of money

Jainism

Jainism is the essence of scientific living with spiritual calmness.Yes my friends jainism means to live the life in the simplest form and to live peacefully. The motto to reflects it ie LIVE AND LET LIVE.

People who follow "Jain" religion are called Jainis. It has 24 tirthankaras(god) and was founded to its modern way by the 24th tirthankara Mahavir Swami.

Palitana a district in Gujarat (india) is the most holiest and oldest know Jain`s holy place where the most auscpicous and the oldest idol of lord adinath(the first tirthankara) is located. The idol is been believed to have actually breath 7 times when it was established there in the historical times. It is said that if you are a jain and you have`nt visited Palitana then you have wasted your life.

You know why I said Jain to be most scientific religion cause of following reasons:-
  1. It emphasise on vegetarian food ,science says most panedemic are caused by non-veg food.
  2. It asks it`s followers to not to eat roots and shoots which grow under the soil, science says they hold the maximum germs than any other food item on earth.
  3. It asks to eat breakfast 45 min after sunrise and dinner 45 before the sunset ,science says after this is the time when digestion power is at max.
  4. It`s main and maximum emphasis is on non-voilence.

Leaders For Tomorrow

During my recent summer break which happened to be the best holiday i could ever have, I joined a N.G.O named LEADERS FOR TOMORROW which is a college based organisation aimed at bringing a social change among the society and integrating the youth to the system to make the world a better place to live.
Our programs include cleanliness drive ,adopting a plant, visit for compassion and IYM ie Igninting young minds. The organisation has a prestigious board of director whihc include Rajdeep Sardesai,Barkha Datt and Binoy Job who are prominent faces of Indian Journalism and we have Mr T.K Nair also the principal advisor to Prime Minister. The organisation is open to all college students.
For me joining it was a wonderfull experience as I learnt immense about the world which I never knew.
"Right to Food" became an integral part of my life after I heard Supreme Court comissoners seminar under the NGO`s program and felt sorrow for the vitim and passinate for their cause.

Every one is invited for the cause

Tough Time

Sorry friends for being inactive for such a long time .I really felt disconnected from the world past few days cause of many things whcih I really didn`t wanna share cause it would disclose the failure of civil services structure of the capital of the India.Yup the following tragics are true and distressing:-
on 6th of June 2009 the water in the entire state ie Delhi started recieving salty water which by the evening turned to complete sewage water flowing into our home and entire state came under scarcity of pure drinking water. The situation took 4 days to improve and even today the water tastes bitter.

On the same day ie 6th I though of complaing to water cleaning authorities and you know what my telephone connection was dead so was the broadband and not only of my home but 5 blocks or colonies of norhtern region of the state, even the banks were non-functional .

Then at night there was a power failure for continous 5 hours and life turned to hell with it as despite night the weather was too warm to be friendly.

I just wanna ask you friends how can I country think of becoming a super power by 2050 when our basics our not right

Unusual Animals

Above are the worlds rearest of the rearest animals whose numbers are in just double digits.WWF have taken preventive measures but we have done such a big harm to their enviourment that now soon they`ll become DODO with no more left.We dont know the harm right now but I feel that it will have a toll on the food cycle and will have harmful effect on the whole ecosystem.

If you feel you are a good human being and god has created you to serve nature and not to rule it then please save their souls.

Racism-A Scare on face of Himanity

Hello friends this blog marks my protest against the cruel and brutal racist act shown by australians back in their home against the Indian students.Past one year one or twoo odd reports were reported of criminal actions against the Indians but in past one week situation has changed to be worse.

One of the Indian student in an Australian university by crushed to death on 7th of May after which frequent and more harteniing incidence of bugglery, quarrel and loots were reported against Indian students which was stated as just a genral crime by the local police until one of the video showing Aussies passing comments and hitting a lone Indian student named SHRAVAN and abusing him was uncovered who later went into coma. The situation became more tragic with robberies in Indian communities.
